Did I find a Giant Hogweed?

This plant I found is either a Giant Hogweed (which is very toxic and can burn you and blind you) or it is a Cow Parsnip. I'm not certain, you can compare the two on this website. What do you think? If it is a Giant Hogweed I need to call and have it destroyed since it is so dangerous.

I think its cow Parsnip base on the flowers. They are flat at the top while hogweeed is domed.

Valerie,

Based on the website you gave me, I think this is Giant Hogweed.

(1) Giant Hogweed should be flowering right now, Cow Parsnip should have stopped two weeks ago.

(2) The flower pods look to be bigger than one foot wide, which suggests Giant Hogweed.

(3) The flower pods have a ton of rays, and Cow Parsnip should have fewer.

Love,
Joe

Well it looks like it's Hogweed and Mariann I did stay away from it! I'll be calling some government gardners to come hopefully dispatch it! It's a toxic weed and illegal to plant, sell, and so on.
