Niagara Falls

Two weekends ago Joe and I went to Niagara Falls, we stayed on the Canadian side and this is a view of the American Falls.

And a close up, I love all the giant boulders! To the right is a deck that people are walking on by the falls. That has to be rebuilt every year because the winter destroys it beyond repair.

Here is a view of the Canadian Fall, you can see the Maid of the Mist in the middle. Joe and I watched that ship for a while and it seemed like if you were on it all you would see is a wall of white!

This is a picture of the side of the Canadian Falls. People can take an elevator down to see the side of the falls which we did!

It was a hot day and there was an incredible amount of mist.

The mist made rainbows, you can see one in the picture above.

I loved this view of the very edge of the falls. They said every year the falls move back 6 inches from erosion.

On closer inspection you can see through the water as it goes over the edge!

We took the elevator down and saw the side of the falls. It was beautiful!

While trying to take pictures we'd get hit hard with a wall of mist.

Occasionally I could keep my eyes open!
