Today is election day and we are lucky to live in a country where we can vote. Many fought hard for this right.
A few weeks back I went to see the President speak. Sadly I couldn't stay long enough to see him. Four hours in the rain was just too much for me!
I did talk to lots of people and made a friend!
Here is some history, in 1893 New Zealand became the first nation to allow women the right to vote. On August 8th 1920 the 19th US Constitutional Amendment gave women the right to vote. That was only 92 years ago that women were given the right to vote for what they believed in. That's not very long ago in the scheme of things. So please take the time to use your voice and vote for who you want in office locally and nationally!
