Welding at HamerSong Farms

This year Joe and I and Joe's parents made giant chicken at our annual welding class. Look how big it is!

Joe did most of the work, and he had a great time!

And he got quite messy!

Signs of Spring

Signs of Spring in our front yard! I took a quick couple of pics from a distance and left this little one alone. Mama deer leave their babies during the day in hidden locations. This spot in our front yard was not so hidden, luckily the little guy found a better, shadier spot.

I love his ears, their just like both of my dog's ears!

Movement...

Here is a new pair of earrings; I love movement and each arc of wire spins independently of one another. Sterling Silver and Swarovski crystal.

I couldn't think of a name for them. What would you name these earrings?

The Literature Lover’s Necklace

This necklace was designed for a woman who loves J.K. Rowling’s Harry Potter series. I created a scroll out of sterling silver and engraved the quote ‘The stories we love best do live in us forever. – J.K. Rowling’.

A few symbols from the series were included: a quill, the Horcrux and Harry’s scar.

The chain is a handmade sterling silver twist chain.

This necklace was a surprise Valentine’s Day present from her husband. I loved this quote I engraved because it was from her favorite author but could also include all the other books and stories she loved!

A package in the mail...

Last week a Christmas present arrived from a good friend of mine in Maryland. She made these ornaments. The lace that surrounds the is all her work. They are just beautiful and I wanted to share them with you.

In the ornaments above and below you can see my reflection.
